Altria’s Gulfstream G600, tail number N805AG, touched down at Richmond International Airport on June 18 after a seven-hour flight from a departure point near Belgium. The aircraft, operated by the Marlboro parent, flew at 47,000 feet across the Atlantic before returning to its home base at KRIC.

The flight arrives the same week Altria continues its leadership shuffle: former CEO Billy Gifford retired on May 14, succeeded by Sal Mancuso, per a Nasdaq press release. The annual shareholder meeting that day also saw a regular quarterly dividend declared. Altria reaffirmed its 2026 full-year earnings guidance in its first-quarter report on April 30, per the company’s investor relations site.

This European trip fits a pattern for the Richmond-based nicotine giant; its Gulfstream frequently visits London (EGLL) and other destinations, likely for regulatory or market meetings. For now, the aircraft is back at its home base, grounded until the next business cycle turns.
