Celebplanes is a celebrity-jet tracker built on public ADS-B broadcasts. We don’t ask for an account to browse the site, we don’t sell visitor data, and we don’t run our own tracking analytics. Cookies set by your visit fall into two buckets: a small set we control (theme preference, optional newsletter session, optional admin session) and cookies set by Google AdSense to serve and measure ads.

We store a theme preference(light or dark) in your browser’s localStorage so the site doesn’t flash the wrong colour on page load. It never leaves your device.

If you subscribe to the newsletter at /subscribe, we keep your email address for the sole purpose of sending you the newsletter, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

Our servers log standard HTTP request data (IP address, user- agent, path, timestamp) for security and rate-limiting. Logs rotate on a short retention window and are not joined to any advertising identifier.

We use Google AdSenseto display ads on the site. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website and other websites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising by other third-party vendors at aboutads.info/choices.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google’s consent management platform will display a banner on your first visit asking how you want ads to be served (personalised or non-personalised). Your choice is stored as a cookie and can be changed at any time using the same banner.

The live map at /map loads tile imagery from CARTO and OpenStreetMap. Those providers see standard HTTP request metadata for the tiles your browser requests. We don’t pass them anything beyond what your browser already sends. Fonts are served from Google Fonts; the request is anonymous and the font files are cached aggressively.

We don’t run our own tracking analytics (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.). We don’t fingerprint visitors, and we don’t share or sell any data we collect. The celebrity flight data on the site is derived entirely from public ADS-B broadcasts and public registries — see /methodology for sources.

If we materially change how we handle visitor data, we’ll update this page and bump the date at the top. There is no mailing list for policy changes — bookmark this page if you want to check back.
