ConocoPhillips shuttles from Williston Basin to Houston as new E145 service begins

ConocoPhillips flew from Watford City Municipal Airport in North Dakota to Houston Bush Intercontinental on June 4, a 2-hour 43-minute hop aboard its Embraer ERJ-145XR (N284CP). The aircraft reached 37,025 feet and a ground speed of 472.8 knots before touching down at the company's home base just before midnight.

The trip arrives the same week ConocoPhillips announced it has begun offering an air shuttle service to employees across the lower 48 states using this very aircraft, per ch-aviation. The E145 is based at the ConocoPhillips Global Aviation hangar in Houston and will serve Midland, Carlsbad, Bartlesville, and Williston Basin — the airport closest to Watford City. The flight from KS25 to KIAH is a textbook run on that new network.

The pattern is clear: ConocoPhillips's recent flight history shows a steady rhythm of hops between Houston and Midland, with occasional forays to Carlsbad and Williston Basin. The company's aviation group, which also operates Dash 8s and Twin Otters in Alaska, is now using the E145 to keep its continental employees moving.
