ConocoPhillips
ConocoPhillips flew from Midland International Air and Space Port to George Bush Intercontinental Airport on June 16, 2026, a 64-minute hop in the company’s Embraer ERJ-145XR. The aircraft landed at the Houston headquarters base shortly before 1 p.m. Central.
The same week, ConocoPhillips is poised to sign a contract with Syria on June 17 to explore and develop natural gas in the offshore Block 3 area in the Mediterranean, as reported by MarketScreener and Ainvest. The deal, partnered with Novaterra, follows a technical review phase that began in May alongside TotalEnergies and QatarEnergy. Industry analysts at Ainvest have called the agreement more of a political signal than a near-term production driver, noting the project remains in an early stage with no output expected for years.
N284CP made a similar round trip on June 11, shuttling between Midland and Houston, and on June 15 it flew from Houston to Midland, a pattern consistent with supporting ConocoPhillips’ Permian Basin operations. The company’s first-quarter 2026 earnings, released April 30, showed adjusted earnings of $1.89 per share and a declared second-quarter ordinary dividend of $0.84 per share.
