Costco Wholesale
Costco Wholesale flew from Vashon Municipal Airport to San Diego International Airport on May 20, arriving just before 5 p.m. local time. The flight, operated by the company’s Gulfstream G280 (tail N82CW), originated from the small island airport near Seattle, where Costco Wholesale’s headquarters in Issaquah is located.
The same week, Costco Wholesale opened a new warehouse in North Visalia, California, on May 21, according to a report from MARCA. The Visalia location is part of a broader expansion push that has included new stores in Texas, Utah, and elsewhere this year. San Diego serves as a regional hub for the company’s California operations, and the flight may have been connected to pre-opening logistics or executive oversight of the rollout.
Costco Wholesale’s fleet of four Gulfstream jets has been active across the U.S. in recent days, with stops in New Jersey, Texas, and Washington, D.C. The May 20 trip marks the second visit to San Diego by this aircraft in a week, following a May 15 arrival from Visalia itself — suggesting ongoing coordination between the company’s air operations and its physical expansion in California’s Central Valley.
