David Geffen flew from Hansen Airport on the Spanish coast to Palma de Mallorca Airport on June 15, arriving the morning of June 16 aboard his Gulfstream G650, N221DG. The 10-hour, 31-minute flight from 11CL to LEPA brought the media mogul and billionaire art collector back to the western Mediterranean island where his superyacht, the Rising Sun, has been moored since late April, per a Daily Mail report.
The same week David Geffen lands in Mallorca, he is reuniting with his ex-husband David Armstrong aboard the 453-foot vessel. According to photos published by TMZ on June 10, the two were spotted together on deck in Mallorca, appearing relaxed just two months after settling a bitter divorce that included Armstrong's allegations of grooming and financial abuse. Page Six notes the divorce was marked "uncontested" in April, with settlement estimates ranging from $15 million to $30 million. Also on board this week: Kris Jenner, Corey Gamble, Ellen DeGeneres, and Portia de Rossi, reports the Majorca Daily Bulletin.
The flight to Mallorca follows a pattern of Mediterranean movement by David Geffen this month. His aircraft arrived from Van Nuys on June 4, hopped to Madrid on June 9, and returned to the islands on June 10 before a transatlantic crossing back to Los Angeles that same day. The June 15 trip appears to return him to his annual summer gathering on the Rising Sun — and, as the photos show, to a peace offering with his ex-husband.
