Drake
Drake flew from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport to Toronto Pearson International Airport on May 22, 2026, a 25-minute hop covering about 40 miles. The brief flight, aboard his Boeing 767-200ER N767CJ, burned roughly 3,600 gallons of fuel and produced over ten metric tons of CO2, according to flight tracking data.
The trip lands in Toronto the same week Drake is still riding the wave of his May 15 triple album release — 'ICEMAN,' 'Habibti,' and 'Maid of Honour' — which included a dramatic CN Tower light show using 75 projectors and a City Hall visit where he wore Mayor Olivia Chow's chain of office, per CP24. The short flight suggests a quick turnaround for label business or additional promotional commitments in his hometown.
Drake bases his distinctive 767, known as Air Drake, at Hamilton, but regularly shuttles to Toronto for OVO operations and events. The aircraft, renovated in mid-2025 after a months-long interior overhaul, remains a workhorse for the rapper's regional travel, as Simple Flying noted. This pattern of short hops between his base and Toronto is routine for the artist, who often commutes for album-related appearances.
