Drake flew from Montreal Mirabel International Airport to a private airstrip near Toronto on May 24, 2026, a one-hour-and-eight-minute hop in his Boeing 767-200ER, N767CJ. The flight arrived just after midnight on May 25.
The trip lands the same week Drake released three surprise albums — "Iceman," "Habibti," and "Maid of Honour" — at midnight on May 14, per a Global News report. The rollout included a CN Tower ice projection, a fireworks display at Harbourfront Centre, and a music video shot inside Toronto City Hall, where Mayor Olivia Chow confirmed Drake "borrowed" her office for the shoot, as covered by NOW Toronto. The albums follow a year-long hiatus from solo work and a high-profile renovation of Air Drake, which returned to service in July 2025 after a months-long interior overhaul, per Simple Flying.
Drake’s recent flights show a pattern of short hops around southern Ontario and Quebec in the days leading up to the release, including a May 22 trip from Hamilton to Montreal. The Hamilton-based rapper frequently uses the 767 for label business and tour travel, but this week’s movements align squarely with the promotional blitz for his first solo albums since October 2023.
