Drake
Drake flew from Gamble Field to Toronto Pearson International Airport on June 19, 2026, a journey of 12 minutes aboard the Boeing 767-200ER known as “Air Drake.” The aircraft, registered N767CJ and operated by Elan Express, departed at 18:23 UTC and touched down at 18:35 UTC, climbing no higher than 6,200 feet.
The short repositioning flight arrives the same week Drake is expected to attend the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, one of the most celebrity-dense events of the year, per a MARCA report. The trip also follows a series of high-profile promotional events in Toronto tied to his three-album release — “Iceman,” “Maid of Honour,” and “Habibti” — which included a CN Tower light show and a fireworks display on May 15, covered by CP24.
Drake’s recent flight history shows a pattern of hops between Hamilton-area airfields and Pearson, consistent with aircraft storage and repositioning. The 767 spent much of 2025 parked for a major interior overhaul, returning to service in July after a months-long renovation, according to Simple Flying. Today’s brief flight fits the operational logistics Drake himself once described — planes moving between airports for storage, not passengers.
