DuPont
DuPont flew from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Wilmington Airport on May 20, 2026, a round trip that saw the company’s Gulfstream G550 (tail N581D) depart Toronto at 4:23 p.m. local time and arrive back in Delaware just over two hours later. The outbound leg had left Wilmington earlier that day, suggesting a single-day business visit to Canada.
The same week, DuPont reported first-quarter 2026 earnings that exceeded expectations and raised its full-year guidance, citing price increases tied to the US-Iran conflict, per a Bloomberg report on May 5. The company also completed the $1.8 billion sale of its Aramids business on April 1, a transaction that CEO Lori Koch described as part of a “disciplined” capital allocation strategy, according to a DuPont press release. While no specific Toronto event was announced, the city is a hub for chemical industry clients and partners, making a working meeting a plausible explanation for the trip.
The Wilmington-based specialty chemicals firm has been active this spring, opening a new Cyrel® Customer Technology Center in Delaware and spinning off its electronics business into Qnity in late 2025. Recent flights show DuPont’s jet visiting Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, and Chicago, consistent with a company that keeps its leadership on the move. A quick turnaround to Toronto fits that pattern.
