DuPont flew from its Wilmington, Delaware headquarters to MBS International Airport in Midland, Michigan on June 17, a 1-hour 23-minute hop in its Gulfstream G550 (N581D). The trip landed at 12:45 p.m. local time.
The visit comes the same week DuPont announced that its U.S.-based healthcare manufacturing sites are now powered by 100% renewable electricity, a milestone the company says covers 12 facilities and advances its 2035 climate goals, per a June 10 PRNewswire release. DuPont operates a major materials science and engineering center in Midland — the Herbert H. Dow Research & Development campus — making the destination a natural fit for discussions tied to the sustainability push and the broader operations strategy outlined in the company's Q1 2026 earnings call.
The flight breaks a pattern of recent European trips aboard N581D — the jet visited Luxembourg, Italy, and Germany in early June — and is the first logged domestic leg since May 22, when the aircraft shuttled between Wilmington and Sint Maarten. The Midland stop suggests a working visit focused on DuPont's manufacturing footprint rather than a ceremonial one.
