Eli Lilly flew from Indianapolis International Airport to Westchester County Airport on May 18, 2026, a 1-hour 32-minute hop aboard its Gulfstream G500, tail number N308EL. The company’s Indianapolis headquarters is home base, but the New York area is a recurring destination for investor meetings and media appearances.
The trip lands the same week Eli Lilly’s CEO Dave Ricks is publicly discussing the launch of Foundayo, the company’s newly approved oral GLP-1 weight-loss pill. Per CNBC, more than 20,000 people started taking Foundayo in its first few weeks, with over 1,000 new patients per day. Ricks told Semafor on April 17 that he is “disappointed” only one in ten eligible Americans are on GLP-1s, and that Foundayo’s convenience — no food or water restrictions — could expand the market. The company also raised its 2026 revenue guidance by $2 billion after first-quarter earnings beat estimates, per a company press release.
This is Eli Lilly’s third trip to the New York area in May, following flights on May 10 and May 12. The pattern suggests active engagement with investors and media as the company scales Foundayo production. On May 7, Eli Lilly opened a new genetic medicine facility in Lebanon, Indiana, and announced a $4.5 billion expansion to manufacture Foundayo there, per Indiana Public Media. The Westchester stop likely supports those conversations.
