Eli Lilly flew from Indianapolis to Boston on May 27, 2026, aboard its Gulfstream G500 (N308EL). The 1-hour 42-minute flight touched down at Boston Logan at 12:16 p.m. local time.
The trip coincides with ongoing work at the company's Cambridge biotechnology center, where Lilly is advancing its oral GLP-1 program. As reported in the company's Q1 earnings call, the next-generation molecule is expected to enter Phase III trials later this year.
This is the second visit to Boston in a week for the N308EL, which also flew to the area on May 21. The pattern underscores the importance of Lilly's R&D hub in Massachusetts as the company races to maintain its lead in the weight-loss drug market against competitors like Novo Nordisk.
