Exelon
Exelon flew from Lebanon, New Hampshire to Denver, Colorado on June 14, arriving at Centennial Airport just before 5 p.m. local time. The flight, operated by Falcon 7X N496AC, originated from an area near Dartmouth College, where CEO Calvin Butler had been earlier in the week.
The trip comes the same week Butler participated in the Semafor World Economy summit in Washington, D.C., where he discussed rising electricity costs, permitting reform, and Exelon's plans to re-enter power generation, per a Semafor report on April 16. Butler has been vocal about affordability pressures, telling analysts on May 6 that "business as usual is not an option" as residential supply costs in the Mid-Atlantic have risen up to 80% over five years, as covered by TD World.
The Denver area is not a regular Exelon destination, but the company has been shifting capital toward transmission projects, including a $1.5 billion transmission investment plan announced this spring. Butler's recent travel pattern shows stops in Colorado and Utah earlier in June, suggesting the CEO is balancing regulatory and investor meetings across the West.
