FedEx flew from St. Louis Regional Airport to Memphis on June 10, a 66-minute hop in the company’s Bombardier Challenger 300, tail number N43FE. The flight landed just after 3:37 p.m. local time, bringing the executive team back to the company’s headquarters.
The same week, FedEx pilots voted 83% in favor of a new four-year labor contract, as reported by Yahoo Finance. The agreement provides a 40% increase in hourly pay, back pay of up to $150,000 for captains, and 3% annual raises starting in 2028 — closing more than five years of tense negotiations. The contract takes effect June 29.
The St. Louis stop may have involved final discussions with union representatives or supply-chain partners; FedEx has no major hub there, but the timing aligns with the ratification announcement. The company is also navigating the recent spin-off of FedEx Freight and a new air logistics partnership with China Southern Airlines, moves that reshape its corporate structure even as labor peace is secured.
