FEMSA
FEMSA flew from Adolfo López Mateos International Airport (MMTO) near Mexico City to Del Norte International Airport (MMAN) in Monterrey on the evening of May 27, a 1-hour-19-minute hop aboard Gulfstream G280 XA-FMX. The aircraft, operated by FEMSA’s aviation subsidiary SARSA, climbed to 45,025 feet and touched down just after 10:30 p.m. local time.
The same week, FEMSA’s leadership has been shuttling between its Monterrey headquarters and Mexico City for a series of investor meetings and board discussions focused on the company’s retail expansion plans, per a company filing with the Mexican Stock Exchange. The conglomerate, which operates Latin America’s largest convenience store chain OXXO and the Coca-Cola FEMSA bottling unit, is evaluating new store locations in central and southern Mexico.
This return leg mirrors recent flight patterns: earlier on May 27, the same aircraft flew from Monterrey to Toluca, likely carrying executives to those meetings. With over 120 annual flights to the United States and a fleet averaging 5.6 years old, FEMSA’s aviation operations remain tightly aligned with its business rhythms across the Americas.
