Kid Rock
Kid Rock flew from Richmond Municipal Airport in Indiana to John C Tune Airport in Nashville on June 5, a 56-minute hop aboard his Bombardier Challenger 600 (N71KR). The flight arrived just after 3 p.m. local time, according to publicly available flight data.
The trip lands the same week Kid Rock is set to kick off his Freedom 250 tour, which begins Friday in Dallas and includes a stop on the Rock the Country festival tour in Bellville, Texas, per a Rolling Stone report this week. The tour follows a month in which Kid Rock flew to Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and took a 10-minute ride in an Army Apache helicopter alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, as covered by NPR on April 28. The Pentagon said the flight was part of a community relations event tied to the nation’s 250th anniversary.
The return to Nashville also comes after a March incident in which Army helicopters hovered over Kid Rock’s home in Whites Creek, Tennessee, prompting a brief suspension of the pilots that Hegseth later rescinded. Kid Rock’s jet has frequently shuttled between Nashville and his Detroit-area home base at Oakland County International Airport, reflecting a pattern of cross-country travel for performances and public appearances.
