Hess
Hess flew from Francis S Gabreski Airport on Long Island to Trenton Mercer Airport on June 12, 2026, a 40-minute leg in the company's Gulfstream G650ER, N1454H. The flight arrived just after midnight, capping a day that included a longer journey from Guyana the previous afternoon.
The same week, Hess Guyana Exploration Limited released its 2025 financials, reporting net income of GY$605.45 billion — roughly US$3 billion, as covered by [Kaieteur News](https://kaieteurnewsonline.com/2026/05/19/hess-recovers-full-investment-in-guyana-2025-financials/). The filings also showed the company had fully recovered all head office contributions, reducing the balance to nil by year-end. The accumulated surplus of GY$1.741 trillion now exceeds Guyana's entire national budget for 2026, according to the same report.
The Trenton landing is a familiar one. Recent flight history shows repeated shuttles between Hess's Teterboro-area operations and Trenton Mercer, often followed by runs down to the Guyana oil hub or up to Washington, D.C. With Chevron's $53 billion acquisition of Hess Corporation closing last July, as reported by [Chevron's own news release](https://chevroncorp.gcs-web.com/news-releases/news-release-details/chevron-completes-acquisition-hess-corporation), the old Hess tail now flies for a combined company still deeply tied to the Stabroek Block's cash flows.
