Jeff Bezos
Jeff Bezos flew his Pilatus PC-24, N194PJ, from Lafayette Regional Airport (KLFT) to Witham Field (KSUA) in Stuart, Florida, on June 5, 2026. The flight lasted just six minutes, covering roughly twenty miles at a maximum altitude of 1,575 feet. It's best understood as a repositioning hop rather than a journey with a distinct purpose, given Lafayette and Stuart are essentially the same geographic location in Louisiana.
The brief flight takes on more meaning when considered alongside the two flights Bezos operated earlier that same day. According to flight tracking data, N194PJ flew from Witham Field to Lafayette earlier on June 5, a trip of roughly two hours, before making the return lap. Bezos maintains a residence on Indian Creek Island in Miami-Dade County, and Witham Field in Stuart is a frequent access point for the region. Lafayette is not a documented regular stop for Bezos, making this visit anomalous.
Bezos keeps his primary Gulfstream G650ER, N758PB, at his home base of Opa-Locka Executive Airport (KOPF) in Miami, and the Pilatus PC-24 is used for shorter trips and access to smaller airfields. This entire sequence may represent a brief personal or business visit to southern Louisiana, with the six-minute leg simply closing the loop back to a more familiar aircraft parking location near Bezos's Florida home.
