Johnson & Johnson
Johnson & Johnson flew from Trenton Mercer Airport in New Jersey to Valencia, Spain on Saturday, June 20, touching down at 6:40 p.m. local time after a six-and-a-half-hour Gulfstream G650ER crossing. The flight, registered N400J, followed a notably busy week for the company stateside.
The same week the flight departed, Johnson & Johnson announced a more than $1 billion investment in a new contact-lens manufacturing and distribution facility in Jacksonville, Florida — part of a broader $55 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment the company credits to Trump-era tax policies, as covered by Fox Business on June 16. CEO Joaquin Duato appeared on "Mornings with Maria" to tout the push, calling it "a show of confidence in American manufacturing."
While the specific reason for the Valencia trip has not been disclosed, the flight continues a pattern of transatlantic hops by Johnson & Johnson's fleet — including a recent Shannon-to-New Jersey leg on June 9. Valencia hosts several Johnson & Johnson Vision operations, making a site visit or European business review a plausible explanation for Duato's itinerary.
