JPMorgan Chase flew from Teterboro to Toluca, Mexico on June 9, landing at Adolfo López Mateos International Airport after a four-hour, twenty-minute flight. The Gulfstream G650ER, tail N661CH, reached a peak altitude of 43,025 feet.
The trip comes the same week that CEO Jamie Dimon hosted a live interactive discussion on the SpaceX initial public offering, simulcast to 90 JPMorgan locations across 26 states, per the Economic Times. More than 2,500 high-net-worth clients were expected to attend the event, which included SpaceX executives Gwynne Shotwell and Bret Johnsen. The bank is among 23 firms working on what could be the largest IPO in history, targeting a valuation of about $1.8 trillion.
JPMorgan Chase's corporate jet has been active in recent days, flying from Toronto to New York on June 1, then to San Francisco on June 4, before returning east. The Mexico City trip suggests continued outreach to wealthy clients in Latin America, a region where the bank has expanded its private banking operations. The board mandates secure travel for Dimon and select senior executives, as disclosed in the 2024 proxy.
