Kid Rock
Kid Rock flew from Blue Bird Airport in Ohio to John C Tune Airport in Nashville on June 21, a 49-minute hop that landed just before midnight. The Bombardier Challenger 600, tail N71KR, touched down at the general aviation field that serves as his usual gateway to the area.
The same week, Kid Rock’s Nashville-area property — a 27,000-square-foot replica of the White House he calls the “Southern White House” — was at the center of a national story. As reported by the Tennessean on April 1, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth lifted the suspensions of two Army Apache pilots who had visited the musician’s home on March 28, after Kid Rock posted a video of the helicopters hovering near the residence. The incident drew scrutiny and a brief Pentagon investigation.
The flight is a familiar route for N71KR, which frequently shuttles between Kid Rock’s Detroit-area base at Oakland County International and his Nashville-area home in Whites Creek. Recent flight history shows multiple trips to and from KJWN in June alone, consistent with the musician’s pattern of splitting time between Michigan and Tennessee. The aircraft, registered to Lost Highway Touring Inc., carries a livery that includes a middle-finger graphic on the tail — a detail that has generated its own share of online commentary this year.
