Kim Kardashian flew from Boober Airport, a small field near Monaco, to Van Nuys on June 10, arriving just before 4 a.m. local time after a four-hour Gulfstream G650ER hop across the Atlantic. The flight capped a week in which she attended the Monaco Grand Prix as the guest of her boyfriend, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton, who finished second in the race on June 7.
The trip was dominated by Hamilton's podium finish and by a viral moment in which Kardashian ignored veteran Sky Sports reporter Martin Brundle during his pre-race grid walk, a snub that drew criticism from F1 insiders as "classless," per The Blast. Kardashian and her sister Khloé arrived by boat in Monte Carlo on June 5, and she was photographed kissing Hamilton on his yacht after the race, as Page Six reported. The couple's relationship became public in February.
The Van Nuys landing is a return to Kardashian's home base in Hidden Hills. Her recent flight history shows she flew from Las Vegas to Nice on June 5, then shuttled between Nice, Paris, and London before the short hop to Boober. The Monaco weekend was her first public Formula 1 appearance as a WAG, and the question now, as one paddock source told The Blast, is whether "she's become an unnecessary distraction at an event that should be about the racing."
