Larry Page flies to Provo the week his Miami tax dodge becomes law
Google cofounder’s late-night hop from Tucson lands him home days after California’s billionaire tax qualifies for the November ballot.

Larry Page
Larry Page flew from Tucson to Provo, Utah, on May 17, arriving just after 10 p.m. local time aboard his Gulfstream G650ER, N618PB. The 77-minute hop from KTUS to KPVU is a short leg for a man whose fleet typically spans the Pacific — but the timing is everything.
The same week, California’s proposed Billionaire Tax Act officially qualified for the November ballot, per a Fortune report from January. The measure would impose a one-time 5% levy on residents worth over $1 billion, retroactive to January 1 — a liability Page sidestepped by purchasing two Miami compounds for $173.4 million in late December and early January, then reincorporating his family office and business entities in Delaware, Florida, and Texas. Page has already left California, a source told Business Insider in January.
Page’s recent flight pattern shows a man consolidating his base. Over the past week, N618PB shuttled between Provo, Tucson, and Chicago before returning home Sunday night. Provo remains Page’s primary aircraft base and the address of Blue City Holdings, the management company for his fleet. The tax fight may be won, but the paperwork — and the flying — continues.
