Larry Page returns to Los Cabos for second trip in May
The Google co-founder's Gulfstream lands in Mexico the same week he faces a potential California wealth tax deadline.

Larry Page
Larry Page flew his Gulfstream G650ER (N618PB) from Provo Municipal Airport to Los Cabos International Airport on May 26, a 2-hour-and-15-minute hop across the border. It's Page's second visit to Los Cabos this month — his jet had already made the same round trip on May 14, sandwiched between a brief excursion to Chicago.
The timing is notable given Page's ongoing tax-avoidance strategy. In late 2025, he moved his family office to Delaware and shifted business entities to Florida, buying two Miami mansions for $173.4 million to dodge a proposed California 5% wealth tax that could have cost him $12–14 billion, per public records. Los Cabos — a popular retreat for the ultra-wealthy — offers privacy and, crucially, no state income tax. Page has been highly reclusive since stepping down as Alphabet CEO in 2019, and his flight patterns suggest he's using multiple low-tax jurisdictions as bases.
While no public events in Los Cabos this week explain the trip, the pattern speaks for itself: Page is keeping his distance from California. With his Alphabet board seat and 26.3% voting power, he can afford to stay airborne. [celebplanes.com](https://www.celebplanes.com/celebrity/larry-page)
