Luke Bryan flew from Portland Municipal Airport (K1M5) back to Nashville International Airport (KBNA) on June 18, a hop of just eight minutes covering roughly 50 miles. The Learjet 60, tail N506AB, climbed to 9,725 feet and reached a ground speed of 254 knots before touching down just before 1:30 a.m. local time.
The same week, Bryan is preparing to launch the “Word On The Street Tour,” which began with sold-out shows in Gilford, New Hampshire, on May 29-30, according to Inside Country. The tour continues through summer and into the fall with stadium dates on the “Double Down Tour” with Jason Aldean, including stops in Missoula, San Diego, Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas, per Live Nation. He also announced a Sept. 24 concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, as reported by Pollstar.
Bryan has been logging miles across the country in recent days, with flights to Seattle, Wisconsin, and Iowa on June 10-14, all returning to Nashville. The quick round trip to Portland suggests a brief pit stop or a short appointment before heading home again. With a new album, SIGNS, due Sept. 18 and a packed calendar, Nashville remains his hub for a relentless touring season.
