M.A. Yusuff Ali
M.A. Yusuff Ali flew from Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi to Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi on June 18, a 2-hour 53-minute hop aboard his Gulfstream G600 (T7-YMA). The short sector marks the end of a day-trip to the Indian capital, where the LuLu Group chairman had been coordinating with suppliers and government officials.
The same week, LuLu Group continues its large-scale airlift of essential food products from India to Gulf markets, a campaign that began in February after regional conflict disrupted trade routes. Per a BusinessToday report in late March, Yusuff Ali briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on the group’s efforts to keep supermarket shelves stocked across the GCC, with 34 dedicated cargo flights and more than 15,000 tonnes of goods moved to date. The Khaleej Times noted that Yusuff Ali personally inspects stock levels at LuLu hypermarkets to ensure price stability.
The flight fits a pattern: over the past month, Yusuff Ali has logged multiple legs between Indian hubs (Mumbai, Delhi, Kerala) and the UAE, often shuttling to attend to logistics and political liaison. His Gulfstream G600, capable of nonstop links from New Delhi to Abu Dhabi, gives him the range to move quickly between his home base and the subcontinent as the supply chain operation continues.
