Matt Damon flew from Van Nuys, California, to Page, Arizona, on May 14, 2026, aboard his Bombardier Global 7500 (N444WT). The 67-minute hop put down at Page Municipal Airport, the gateway to Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon.
The trip came the same week that two Miami-Dade sergeants filed a defamation suit against Damon and Ben Affleck’s Artists Equity over the Netflix crime thriller “The Rip,” per the Miami Herald and Variety. The officers allege the film, which opened with “inspired by true events,” borrows specific details from a 2016 cartel-cash seizure and implies they engaged in misconduct, including murder.
Damon has been promoting “The Rip” since its January debut; the Page destination suggests a brief escape from the legal glare. A day earlier, the same Global 7500 tracked from near Portland, Oregon, to Van Nuys, hinting at a busy schedule of meetings or appearances before this remote detour.
