Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen flew from Cannes Mandelieu Airport to Maastricht Aachen Airport on June 21, a 1-hour 27-minute hop in his Dassault Falcon 900EX, PH-DTF.
Verstappen lands in the Netherlands the same week his manager confirmed an exit clause in his Red Bull contract could be triggered before the summer break if the driver is outside the top two in the championship standings. He currently sits seventh, 60 points off second, per GPFans.com. Team principal Laurent Mekies told media the recent upgrade package headed to Austria will not be enough to challenge for race wins.
Earlier in June, Verstappen flew his Falcon 900EX to Cranfield, near Red Bull's Milton Keynes factory, a visit the team characterized as routine. He also made a high-profile stop at Red Bull's Austrian headquarters last week. His manager maintains Verstappen wants to end his career at Red Bull, but that contract clauses exist and a decision is coming.
