McDonald's Corporation
McDonald's Corporation flew from Yellowstone Mesa Airport to Chicago Midway International Airport on June 5, landing at 6:58 PM UTC after a two-hour-and-33-minute flight. The company's sole Gulfstream G600, tail N1955M, made the trip from the Montana gateway to Yellowstone National Park back to the chain's home base near its Chicago headquarters at 110 North Carpenter Street.
The same week, McDonald's Corporation is gearing up for its summer menu launch, which typically includes the return of the McRib and new limited-time offerings, per a company press release. The flight from Yellowstone—a popular destination for corporate retreats and board outings—suggests a return to the office after a strategic planning session or executive getaway in the park's vicinity.
The trip follows a pattern of domestic travel by N1955M: the aircraft flew from Chicago to Las Vegas on May 29 and back on May 30, and from Chicago to Washington Dulles on May 28. The return to Chicago Midway, rather than the company's usual O'Hare base, may reflect a preference for the closer airport to the West Loop headquarters.
