MGM Resorts flew from Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport to Fort Worth Meacham International Airport on June 11, a two-hour-and-five-minute hop aboard its Embraer Legacy 500 (tail N783MM) that climbed to 39,025 feet and reached a ground speed of 529 knots.
The trip comes the same week the company is weighing an $18 billion acquisition proposal from People Inc. (formerly IAC), chaired by Barry Diller, who already owns 26.1% of the casino giant. Per the company's June 1 confirmation on [sec.gov](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1800227/000110465926068672/tm2616473d3_ex99-1.htm), Diller offered $48.30 per share in cash for the remaining shares — a 24% premium to the 30-day volume-weighted average price. The board is reviewing the non-binding bid, and MGM Resorts CEO Bill Hornbuckle is expected to remain in charge if the deal closes.
The Fort Worth flight is one of several recent movements by the MGM Resorts fleet. In the past week, its aircraft have also shuttled between Las Vegas, Houston, and the Cayman Islands, consistent with the company's pattern of moving executives and high-rollers on short-notice trips. Fort Worth itself is not a regular destination in the fleet's logged history, suggesting the visit may have been tied to Texas-based investors or a private meeting related to the ongoing takeover talks.
