Mukesh Ambani
Mukesh Ambani flew from Juhu Aerodrome to Delhi aboard his Boeing 737 MAX 9 BBJ, VT-AKV, on May 14, 2026, a short hop that positions him for onward travel to Doha. The 1-hour-46-minute flight arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport at 10:07 a.m. local time.
The same week, Mukesh Ambani is expected to join U.S. President Donald Trump and the Emir of Qatar at a state dinner hosted at Lusail Palace in Doha, per a Hindustan Times report published May 14. The meeting marks his second interaction with Trump since the president’s inauguration in January. While formal business discussions are not on the agenda, Reliance Industries maintains ties with Qatar’s sovereign wealth fund, which has invested roughly $1 billion in Ambani’s retail venture, and the conglomerate’s oil-to-tech interests are closely tied to U.S. policy decisions.
The Delhi stopover is a familiar routing pattern for Mukesh Ambani, whose fleet of ten aircraft often uses the capital as a staging point for international departures. The MAX 9, India’s first example of the type, joined his collection in August 2024 after extensive cabin modifications in Switzerland and has since logged trips to Tokyo, Bangkok, Dubai, and the Maldives.
