Mukesh Ambani
Mukesh Ambani flew from Prayagraj to Mumbai on June 16, 2026, a 1 hour 34 minute hop aboard his Boeing 737 MAX 9 BBJ, VT-AKV. The flight landed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport just before 8 PM local time, closing out a day that began in Uttar Pradesh.
The same week, Ambani made news for two distinct reasons. On June 15, he visited the Badrinath temple in the Himalayas, donating Rs 10 crore to the temple committee for pilgrim welfare, per ETV Bharat. Two days earlier, per a Techibe report, Reliance and Meta announced a partnership for a 168MW AI-enabled data centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat — a built-to-suit facility Meta will lease, set for delivery in 2028. The spiritual tour also included stops at Kedarnath and, earlier in June, at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala.
The flight from Prayagraj — a city near the banks of the Ganges — fits a pattern: Ambani’s VT-AKV has been active across India this season, shuttling between Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and now the northern pilgrimage circuit. For India’s richest man, a short hop home is simply the commute between devotion and deal-making.
