Pfizer’s Gulfstream G650ER, tail N6CP, touched down at Toluca International Airport on May 18, completing an 11-hour flight from Paris Le Bourget. The trip brings Pfizer executives to the company’s plant in Toluca just as it moves forward with a landmark agreement to manufacture COVID-19 vaccines in Mexico.
That agreement, signed in March and detailed this month, involves technology transfer for a new “never frozen” mRNA vaccine that can be stored at standard refrigeration temperatures [politica.expansion.mx](https://politica.expansion.mx/mexico/2026/05/02/mexico-retoma-la-produccion-de-vacunas-de-la-mano-de-pfizer-y-con-tecnologia-never-frozen). The goal is to have doses fully produced in Mexico for the 2027–2028 winter season [elimparcial.com](https://www.elimparcial.com/mexico/2026/03/14/mexico-y-pfizer-firman-acuerdo-para-producir-vacunas-contra-el-covid-19-en-territorio-nacional-para-su-distribucion-en-el-invierno-de-2027/).
The flight follows a recent Paris stop for this same aircraft, suggesting a larger European–Latin America business swing. Pfizer, which reports strong first-quarter earnings and a growing oncology pipeline, continues to use its global fleet to advance strategic partnerships and manufacturing expansions.
