Phil Knight
Phil Knight flew from his home base at Hillsboro Airport to Redmond, Oregon aboard his Gulfstream G500 (N19HT) on Monday evening, a 39-minute hop that touched down at Roberts Field at 3:17 p.m. local time. The flight comes just three days after Knight made the same round trip on May 15, following a weekend pattern that included a stop in Palm Springs and a return to Hillsboro.
The repeat visit to Redmond—the gateway to Bend—does not coincide with a public event such as a concert or conference, per local news reports. Knight, who maintains a private hangar at Hillsboro and owns two jets, is known to use his aircraft for both business and personal trips. Central Oregon has long been a destination for Portland-area executives, with Knight's Nike colleague and fellow billionaire having property in the region.
This marks the third documented flight by Knight's fleet to Redmond in the past week, following a May 14 departure from Palm Springs and a same-day return to Hillsboro. While the purpose remains unconfirmed, the pattern aligns with a recurring interest in the area—perhaps a board meeting, a real estate visit, or a quiet getaway.
