Phil Knight
Phil Knight flew his Gulfstream G500, N19HT, from Roberts Field in Redmond, Oregon, back to his private hangar at Hillsboro Airport on the evening of May 21, 2026. The 27-minute hop north over the Cascades is about as routine as private jet travel gets — a quick return flight from Central Oregon, where Knight has long owned property near Sunriver.
This trip, landing just before 7 p.m., follows several recent back-and-forths between Knight's Hillsboro base and the Redmond area. In the week prior, N19HT made at least four round trips between KHIO and KRDM, consistent with a pattern of weekend or midweek getaways to the high desert. Knight is known to spend time at his Central Oregon home, often flying himself or letting guests use the spare Gulfstream.
There is no major public event, board meeting, or conference in Portland this week that would explain the return. The simplest read — supported by the flight history and Knight's known habits — is that he was wrapping up a few days away. [katu.com](https://katu.com/archive/phil-knight-gets-a-new-hangar-for-private-jet-at-hillsboro-airport) reported in 2014 that Knight's favored destinations included Central Oregon, and ADSB data since early 2023 confirms Roberts Field as the second-most-visited airport for his fleet after Hillsboro.
