Ronald Perelman landed his Gulfstream G650 (N838MF) at Garfield County Regional Airport on May 13 after a one-hour, 52-minute flight from San Antonio International Airport. The trip concluded a brief Texas visit that began two days earlier, when Perelman flew from the same Colorado airport to San Antonio.
The return to Colorado comes the same week Perelman’s long-running legal fight with a consortium of insurers over a 2018 fire at his Hamptons estate continues to generate headlines. Perelman is seeking $410 million for five artworks he claims were damaged; insurers have accused him of attempting a “money grab,” per Artnet News. The case remains before the New York Supreme Court.
Perelman’s flight pattern this month shows a familiar rhythm: after spending several days in Colorado earlier in May, he made a quick round trip to San Antonio before returning. The Garfield County airport, near Glenwood Springs and Aspen, has become a recurring destination for Perelman, who appears to maintain a residence or business interests in the area. The jet’s recent activity also includes trips to Orlando and Teterboro, consistent with his known travel habits.
