Shaquille O'Neal
Shaquille O'Neal flew from Boston to Las Vegas on May 15, landing at Harry Reid International Airport after a five-hour, 28-minute trip aboard his Bombardier Challenger 605. The flight arrived the same week O'Neal returned to the construction site of his signature philanthropic project in southern Nevada.
The visit, covered by [news3lv.com](https://news3lv.com/news/local/shaquille-oneal-tours-las-vegas-youth-complex-as-work-continues-for-2027-opening) and [cisnevada.org](https://www.cisnevada.org/shaquille-oneal-tours-las-vegas-youth-complex/), saw O'Neal tour the $24 million, 87,000-square-foot Shaquille O'Neal Youth Complex, now at the halfway point of construction and on track for an early 2027 opening. He was joined by UFC President Dana White, Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis, and local nonprofit leaders, reaffirming commitments to the clubhouse, a UFC-branded martial arts center, and a Raiders-themed sports field.
The trip is the latest in a string of Las Vegas–bound movements for O'Neal, who also begins a DJ Diesel residency at Wynn’s Encore Beach Club in June. His flight originated from Boston, where he may have had TNT broadcasting obligations, but the stopover in Las Vegas was all business for his foundation’s biggest project to date.
