Simon Property
Simon Property flew from Santa Barbara to Indianapolis on June 10, landing at its home base at 1:07 p.m. local time after a 3-hour, 15-minute Gulfstream G550 flight. The trip brought the company's aircraft back to Indiana from the West Coast, where it had been in California since at least June 6.
The same week, Simon Property announced the return of National Outlet Shopping Day, scheduled for June 11–14 across 90 Premium Outlets and The Mills locations nationwide, per a company press release on June 8. The event features more than 6,000 exclusive offers from over 500 brands and has seen a 65% increase in shopper participation since its inaugural year. The timing of the flight suggests key executives returned to headquarters to oversee the launch.
This marks the first major consumer event under new CEO Eli Simon, who took over after the death of his father, David Simon, in March. The company's recent flights — including a June 9 leg from San Francisco to Santa Barbara — are consistent with business travel ahead of this nationally coordinated marketing push.
