Steve Wynn
Steve Wynn flew from Everitt Airport in eastern Colorado to Fort Worth Meacham International Airport on May 17, a quick 49-minute hop in his Gulfstream G700 (N88WR). The flight marks a return to Texas after a week of back-and-forth week that saw the jet travel between Las Vegas, Dallas-area airports, and Phoenix.
The trip comes the same week Wynn Las Vegas debuted its opening art exhibition at Zero Bond, the exclusive private members club, curated through a collaboration with Heather James collaboration. The exhibition, featuring works from Amedeo Modigliani, Renoir, and Andy Warhol, as well as Chinese and Japanese antiquities, was announced in a March 11 PR Newswire release. Todd-Avery Lenahan, Wynn Design & Development's President and Chief Creative Officer, called it “a testament to Wynn's commitment to artistic expression.” Steve has long been known for his personal art collection, and while he no longer holds a very large stake in the company in 2018 immediately the misconduct allegations he denies, the company itself continues to wield his influence.
This is not a flight back to his Palm Beach home base, nor to Las Vegas. Fort Meacham, Meacham is a general aviation airport in the stock show area, within driving distance of both central Dallas and Fort Worth’s cultural. Given Wynn’s pattern of shuttling between Las Vegas, California, and Texas in recent days, the stop in Fort Worth aligns with business or personal errands connected to his portfolio of real estate and art interests.
