Steve Wynn
Steve Wynn flew from Depue Airport (6CA8) in north-central Illinois to Harry Reid International Airport (KLAS) in Las Vegas on June 8, a brief 30-minute hop that followed several days of travel in California and Nevada. The Gulfstream G700, tail N88WR, touched down just before 2 a.m. local time.
The same week, Wynn Resorts — the company Wynn led until 2018 — reported a record first quarter and announced a $900–$950 million investment in a 432 all-suite tower at Wynn Palace in Macau, per its May 7 earnings call covered by BigGo Finance. CEO Craig Billings described the Enclave tower as “a no-brainer” given near-full occupancy at the property, with construction expected to begin this year. Wynn maintains a residence in Palm Beach and has no formal role with the company, but his Las Vegas trips have historically involved art collection and personal business.
The flight pattern shows a busy week: on June 7 alone, N88WR traveled from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, then up to the San Francisco Bay Area, and finally into rural Illinois before returning to Vegas. That Illinois stop — the small community of Depue — suggests a personal detour, not a corporate meeting, before the familiar return to the Mojave desert.
