Target flies to Minneapolis the day of its earnings miss and executive shakeup

Target’s Gulfstream G280, tail number N686BE, touched down at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport at 7:30 p.m. local time on May 20 after a 1-hour 46-minute hop from Venable Airpark in South Carolina. The flight landed just hours before Target released its dismal first-quarter earnings and announced a major reorganization of its executive suite.

The same day, Target reported a 3.8% drop in comparable sales and cut its full-year guidance, citing declining consumer confidence and tariff uncertainty. CEO Brian Cornell also revealed the creation of a multi-year Enterprise Acceleration Office, to be led by COO Michael Fiddelke, and the departures of chief strategy officer Christina Hennington and chief legal officer Amy Tu.
