Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods flew from Palm Beach International Airport to Witham Field in Martin County, Florida, on May 13, a brief 18-minute hop that landed just after 11 p.m. local time. The flight followed a longer trip from Zurich, Switzerland, earlier that same day, where the 15-time major champion had been in rehab following his March DUI arrest, per the Daily Mail.
The return to Martin County comes the same week a judge ruled that Florida prosecutors can access Tiger Woods’s prescription medication records in his impaired driving case, as reported by NBC News and ABC News. Woods’s attorneys argued for a protective order to keep the records from the public, which the judge granted, but the state will now review the medications he was taking at the time of the March 27 rollover crash on Jupiter Island.
This is not the first time Tiger Woods’s private jet has been tied to his legal and medical troubles. The Gulfstream V (N517TW) previously shuttled him to and from Switzerland for treatment, and his recurring flights to Witham Field — minutes from his Jupiter Island estate — often align with court appearances or personal matters. The pattern suggests a man navigating both recovery and the consequences of a high-profile DUI case, one flight at a time.
