Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods flew from Witham Field in Martin County, Florida, to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey on Sunday afternoon, a 2-hour and 31-minute trip in his Gulfstream V, N517TW. The flight arrives roughly 40 days after Woods returned to the U.S. from a Swiss rehabilitation facility, where he had sought treatment following a DUI arrest last March.
The same week this flight lands, Woods’s legal team is contending with a recent courtroom defeat: per Yahoo Sports and Golfmagic, a Florida judge has already granted prosecutors access to his prescription drug records covering January through late March, subject to a protective order. That ruling came just days before this trip north, and the documents—which could shed light on what Woods may have been taking the day of his March 27 rollover crash—are expected to be reviewed imminently. Woods pleaded not guilty to charges including driving under the influence, refusal to submit to testing, and distracted driving.
The trip also fits a pattern. Woods frequently flies between his Jupiter Island home and the New York area for business tied to TGR Ventures and his indoor golf league, TGL, as well as court appearances. His Gulfstream V has made multiple round trips out of Witham Field in recent weeks, including an inbound flight from Zurich on May 13 following his rehab stay.
