Netflix also holds its annual investor day in Manhattan on June 11, and Perry’s multi-film deal with the streamer makes that a likely point of interest, per the conference agenda. Perry, who built Tyler Perry Studios on 330 acres in Atlanta and owns three aircraft including this E-190, has used Teterboro as his New York gateway before.

The trip follows a June 6 flight from Provincetown to an ocean waypoint east of Nova Scotia, suggesting a few days at his Bahamas retreat on White Bay Cay before cutting back to the mainland. For a filmmaker who overcame a fear of flying by earning his license, the 29-minute leg is less commute than reflex.
