Tyler Perry flies to Nice the same week his legal team fights dismissal motions

Tyler Perry flew from Genoa to Nice on June 17, a 31-minute hop aboard his Embraer E-190 (N378TP). The short coastal flight follows a longer transatlantic leg from the Bahamas earlier in the week, suggesting a Mediterranean stopover.

The same week Perry lands on the French Riviera, his legal team is contesting two active sexual assault lawsuits. Derek Dixon's $260 million suit is in federal court in Georgia, and Mario Rodriguez's $77 million suit remains in California state court, per the Lawsuits Journal. Perry's attorney, Alex Spiro, has called the cases a coordinated money grab; no trial dates have been set.

Perry, a licensed pilot who owns three private jets, frequently uses his aircraft for business and personal travel. The Nice arrival follows a pattern of European flights this month, including a Barcelona stop on June 8.
