Bank of America flew a Bombardier Challenger 350, tail N200JB, on a brief 1-minute repositioning flight from Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport on the evening of June 8. The aircraft had arrived in the Denver area earlier that day, following a pattern of recent trips to Colorado that include flights from San Antonio and the Texas Gulf Coast.
The same week, Denver hosts the annual Denver Global Financial Summit, a gathering of major bank executives and regulators, per event listings. Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America, has attended in prior years. The short hop between KBJC and Denver's business district suggests a logistical repositioning ahead of meetings.
Bank of America has flown its Colorado-based Gulfstream G280 and other fleet aircraft into the Front Range repeatedly over the past week, including a June 7 arrival from San Antonio and a June 4 arrival from the same city. The bank's sizable corporate flight department routinely supports executive travel to industry conferences and client meetings across the West.
