Brad Garlinghouse flew N100RP from Camarillo to Van Nuys on the afternoon of May 29, a brief 28-minute hop that covered about 40 miles at an unusually low altitude of just 3,400 feet. The Bombardier Global 6000 landed at KVNY shortly after 6 p.m. local time, marking the CEO's third flight into the Los Angeles basin in four days.
The short trip comes the same week the Blockchain Association hosts its annual Policy Summit in Los Angeles, per the group's public calendar. Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple Labs, has been a vocal proponent of clearer U.S. crypto regulation since Ripple's SEC lawsuit concluded in 2025 with a $125 million settlement and mutual appeals dropped. The summit brings together industry executives and policymakers, making Van Nuys — a common corporate aviation gateway for LA's west side — a logical arrival point.
The Ripple chief has been unusually active in Southern California airspace this week: flights tracked to and from Van Nuys, Camarillo, and Santa Monica date back to May 26. While Garlinghouse keeps homes in both San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale, this concentrated pattern suggests business meetings or conference-related logistics rather than a simple return to a primary residence.
