Corning flew from Elmira Corning Regional Airport (KELM) to Morristown Municipal Airport (KMMU) on May 21, 2026, a 31-minute hop aboard its Dassault Falcon 900, tail N38CG. The flight arrived just before noon, one of 14 movements Corning’s aviation department handles on a typical day at its upstate New York base, per a 2023 profile by the National Business Aviation Association.
The same week, Corning’s shuttle network — which the company calls a “self-dispatch operation” — continues its routine of twice-daily round trips to Morristown, a gateway to its New York offices and, via free ground transport, to 59th Street in Manhattan. The shuttles are open to any employee and have carried more than 22,000 passengers, connecting distant plants and bringing global staff to headquarters, as the NBAA reported. Corning also offers seats to retirees and, through Corporate Angel Network, to cancer patients traveling for treatment.
This flight fits a pattern: over the past three days, Corning’s fleet has shuttled repeatedly between Elmira and Morristown, as well as to Charlotte, North Carolina, and Bedford, Massachusetts. The company operates three Falcon 900EX jets and three Challenger 850s, maintained by a 15-person in-house team that handles everything up to major inspections. For Corning, based in a region with limited commercial air service, these jets are less a luxury than a logistical necessity.
