Danaher
Danaher Corporation flew from Montrose Regional Airport to Leesburg Executive Airport on May 26, 2026, a 3-hour 14-minute hop in its Dassault Falcon 900B, tail number N886DC. The flight arrived at the company's home base just outside Washington, D.C., after a long weekend in the Colorado Rockies.
The same week, Danaher is pressing ahead with its planned $9.9 billion acquisition of Masimo Corporation, a pulse oximetry and patient monitoring specialist. The deal, announced in February 2026, remains subject to regulatory clearances and Masimo shareholder approval, per Danaher's 2026 proxy statement and first-quarter earnings release. CEO Rainer Blair told investors on April 21 that the company sees "clear opportunities to enhance Masimo's performance through DBS and our global scale."
The trip to Colorado follows a pattern: N886DC flew from Leesburg to the Montrose area on May 22, then made a brief stop near Redding, California, on May 23 before returning to Colorado on May 25. The aircraft, operated by Kuhn Aviation under a 2023 interchange agreement between Danaher and a Maryland entity, appears to have been used for a private getaway before the executive team reconvenes in Washington for the next phase of the Masimo integration work.
